SUBMIT YOUR CD REVIEWS! Blues Critic welcomes your opinions Requirements: Blues & Soul CDs ONLY Must provide Artist Name, Album Title, Record Label information and full tracklist. (Sound Files not mandatory but VERY welcome. They are effective and useful) Reviews must be of current releases, preferably released within the past 9 months. Reviews must not contain any profanity Reviews must be a minimum of 100 words long or a maximum of 500 words. No bootlegs. Must be actual CD releases one can purchase legitimately. You can't review your own CD. We won't publish the review if we suspect a pseudonym or a record company reviewing it's own product. You must provide your name to go along for the review. Reviews are for entertainment purposes only. We do not pay for reviews. Grading Tips: Rating System... ***** Classic, Essential Purchase **** Very Good. Majority of songs above average *** Good. Solid disc with little filler ** Mediocre. A few above average cuts- mostly filler * Avoid it. Be objective when rating the CD. VERY FEW albums deserve "5 Stars" or "1 Star". Most fall inbetween and should be judged objectively. We all have our favorites but even they can put out a dud. Rate on overall performance. The Songs. The Performance. The Recording Sound.
